Ok, I know this starts out cheesy with the whole “Dark and stormy night” thing, but it was just a joke at first I was typing out on an old type writer for fun until I got into it and really started typing a whole short story.  So even though it starts the way it does, I hope you enjoy.      It was a dark and stormy night.  All the lights were off in the house… all but one.  A candle burned from deep within the study room.  It sat on a desk and was almost burned down to the bottom.      A shadow like figure loomed outside. As the rain poured down, it beat out the sound of his own footsteps as he walked.
